
Yes!! Finally finished the training programme of basketball.
First of all, i must thanks to Ming Gor effort to organise this programme for us to enhance my knowledge of basketball...
Next, to all the participants for their participation, most of us do a great job!
Last, but not least, we must thank to "Fat Gor", who teach us, coach us, and tell us about how to be a good trainer and both player! We really appreiate it alot!
Friday, 18th July 2008 5:30PM
First day of the seminar, that was one tiny kancil parking outside, suprisingly one man with a tall and muscular body shape stand out from the small tiny kancil. "OMG, how come, no way" this is what im think during that moment. (Haha, seriously last time my coach in pj also driving a kancil only. Are they restrict to only drive kancil?haha!)
So, he came early about 10minit, usually i only see him on the news but this time can see him in real. He was tall for his age, fit(he didnt seem have a"spare tyre"), and also quite handsome at his age.
Then we started the seminar, he gave us some handouts and briefly explain through and we have some pratical also on the strecthing :)
There was about 40+ppl sitting on the floor and sleep on the floor while doing strecthing, how funny that is..like we never sleep on the basketball court be4.
Next, Fat Gor briefly explain the handout...although the atmosphere was quite boring for some person, but i really feel interested with it. Until 9pm sumthing, we dismissed...many clap their hand, and say softly:"yes,finally its over." Haha.
Saturday, 19th July 2008 8.30am
Normally saturday will b my off day..
however, the seminar was 3 days long,so how?
Go lo,if not have to pay rm30 leh. Seminar start at 9am leh,wanna eat before go one...
Somehow that day i didnt take my breakfast and i can still training for 3 hours, wonder what drive me to do so..
Ok, this day was more interesting, Fat Gor start teach us about the fundamental of basketball, and teach us some drill for shooting, rebound and also fastbreak.
Once past by 12pm, we were so thankful for finally let us had 2 hour break in between the next training secsion.
Saturday, the same date 2.00pm
After finished eat and buying gift for a friend, we gonna back to train again.
This time Fat Gor teach us about the screen, passing, dribbling, pivot, and also boxout.
I was exhausted, so serious the training, once you cannot get the ball you will b punished and do push up.
Time was 6pm and we finally can back home, then those who have question stayed and ask Fat Gor. I am 1 of them. And yes that saturday trainee number drop to 30+ only..See?
Lol, that day was not ended like that, talk back the gift, that nite my friend want to give another friend a suprise, so that nite we gather togather and bring out the cake and gift while the birthday gal busy doing other stuff.. We play cream, lepak, and take photo and also play some card game(loser 2 have to finish one biscuit!that mean they will kiss each other in the end). Haha,now i know Bufulo and Wei Ming was so char and late respond, they are the 2loser.

Again, 9am again... Really can sleep a whole day after the tiring training, 2 days of standing all d time ma..
This time Fat Gor teach us something more advance, the defense and offense position, strategies and drill.
They are denial, triangle, and slide for defense positon. The drill is the shell drill.
Strategies use are zone 2-3 or 3-2 for half court. Fullcourt zone and man defense we have 2-2-1, 1-2-1-1, and lightning(mad dog).
Offense we have zone red, 5out, and yellow. If your oppenent are using man defense we can play away, flex and i think red also good enough. For junk defense we try use red to spit thier defense.
Inbound sideline we use square and wheel to make opponent defense overload.
Baseline inbound we have box ,zone and also line.
Thats all for the seminar, i was so lucky to be choosen to demonstrate the play. For me to be a manager of a team or coach, this help me more understand the drill and play.

Inconclude, this post is extreme boring,haha.
I know because it was so long and specific for non basketball player..just to show what happen that day and my feel.
